# 5 The Purple Platasauragus

The crazy looking monster to the right is actually the rare and deadly Platasauragus. In their natural habitat in the galapagos islands, they are a dominant species.  There are less than one hundred platasauraguses in the tropical region, but their deadly breath and poisonous spikes make them a serious threat and predator.  The Platasauragus's prey ranges from the smallest of the island birds to as big as a chimpanzee.  Although the strange species is somewhat friendly looking, they are a force to be reckoned with.  Their attacks usually involve hiding out until the prey returns.  The creatures tend to paralyze their prey and then breath on them to finish off the job.  This typically happens in the evening because Platasauraguses are nocturnal.  They also hibernate in the months of December and January.  Why haven't these creatures taken over the world? Well, they are hunted by many fierce tigers and vicious oagers within the jungle.  The monsterous species remains near the top of the food chain in the jungle.

If it wasn't deadly, i would totally want a Platasauragus! I would name him Platasaur. I think it's absolutely precious! The reason I would not want it for a pet is because it would basically be like sentencing myself to the death penalty. Paralysis and death would not be worth the benefits of having a Platasauragus. I think it would be awesome to make a stuffed animal out of this creature. You could even include different nose rings. The Platasauragus would make a terrible pet, but it's still fun to look at!

It would be the most awesome pet in the world...if it wasn't deadly. It would be an awesome guard Platasauragus. Totally creepy...perfect for Halloween. I don't really think it would be too cute of a pet. It would probably scare me to death before it would paralyze me. Very bright in colors and cute. There's really nothing else to say other than that's one weird monster.
